10 Things I'm thankful for this Christmas! Part 1 of 2
#1 My family- "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family."
#2 I'm thankful for Impact Church and for all of the gatherings in our town that live out the message of "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." -Jesus
#3 Lowell truly is a gem of a town and I'm thankful for the great restaurants we have here. I spend a fair share of time at Sweet Seasons and Main Street BBQ, for my business and my family. Thanks Patricia Dlouhy, and Erin VanEpps for running great establishments! And thanks Katie Berghoef for always taking great care of us at the BBQ.
#4 Flat River Outreach Ministries has been a part of the Lowell community for over 20 years. I've had the honor to serve on the Board of Directors the last few months and really get to know the leadership and the amazing ways that FROM empowers and equips people. From Housing initiatives, food pantry, tax preparation, medical equipment loans and countless other relationship driven services, they have truly made a difference in Lowell. Thanks Dawn Broene for your leadership and thank you to everyone who has and continues to donate their time resources to this ministry.
#5 Lowell Police Department. I'm thankful for their hard work and their caring spirit. Not only do they keep our town safe, but they also look for ways to actively better our community.
